Three monumental sculptures by Tracey Emin at Parvis des Droits-de-l’Homme, Paris.
Presented by Whitecube
October 14 – November 1
Known for her deeply personal explorations of intimacy and emotional vulnerability, Tracey Emin frequently uses the female body to express themes of desire, loss, and resilience. Together, these three bronze sculptures suggest a progression from vulnerability to strength. In I Lay Here For You (2018), an elongated figure stretches across the ground, its prone position evoking a sense of exposure or withdrawal. In I Followed You to the End (2024), the body rises into a kneeling position, its parted legs suggesting both tender invitation and submission. Finally, I Will Not Be Alone (2025) depicts a figure seated upright on a rock. Her veiled face moves the work beyond individual portraiture, transforming the figure into a universal symbol of strength and endurance.

A work by Yu Nishimura from Lafayette Anticipations, which is included in their exhibition.
A work by Sonia Gomez from Palais de Tokyo, which is included in their exhibition.
