Samuel Haitz
b. 1997, Muri, Switzerland
Samuel Haitz (b. 1997) is a Zurich-based artist whose work engages with queer art and literary histories to explore desire, memory, and cultural preservation. Using archives, printed matter, and overlooked ephemera, he transforms found materials into paintings, prints, and assemblages that reflect on the persistence and fragility of queer memory. Through this process, Haitz examines questions of originality, reproduction, and authorship in contemporary art.
